Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

Describe the physiology of cardiovascular risk in patients with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
Identify therapies that are appropriate for patients living with HIV in the setting of cardiovascular disease
Explain safety concerns and monitoring parameters associated with the targeted therapies for HIV disease
List ways that pharmacists can help slow the progression or prevent cardiovascular disease in patients living with HIV
