Terry Moore is Recipient of the Chancellor's Discovery Fund Award
Terry Moore and his UIC collaborator Sekhar Reddy received $35,000 in new funding from the UIC Chancellor’s Discovery Fund for Multidisciplinary Pilot Research for project "Development of Nrf2 Activators for the Treatment of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis".
The Chancellor’s Discovery program will provide up to $40,000 over a two-year period to support hypothesis-driven multidisciplinary collaborations led by emerging research leaders at UIC. The purpose of this program is to:
- Foster new and emerging multidisciplinary partnerships;
- Nurture the career trajectories of promising early stage investigators;
- Create pilot data for extramural submissions;
- Leverage this data into new extramural awards.
