AbbVie Partners with UIC to Establish New Fellowship in HEOR
The Center for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomic Research (CPR) has established a new fellowship, in partnership with AbbVie. The UIC-AbbVie fellowship in Health Economics and Outcomes Research is funded by a grant from AbbVie. Dr. Edith Nutescu, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Systems, Outcomes and Policy (PSOP), and Director of the CPR, is the PI and will be the fellowship director. PSOP PhD student, Jifang Zhou has been selected to be the first fellow in the program. Jifang will conduct research at both UIC and AbbVie, and spend a full year onsite at AbbVie's headquarters in Chicago during the program.
