Qato awarded the ASHP Foundation’s 2017 Drug Therapy Research Literature Award

Dr. Dima Qato, Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Systems, Outcomes and Policy (PSOP) and Center Affiliate of the  Center for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomic Research, was presented the ASHP Foundation’s 2017 Drug Therapy Research Literature Award at a ceremony in Orlando, Florida, during the 2017 American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Midyear Clinical Meeting.  The ASHP Drug Therapy Research Award recognizes an outstanding original research contribution to the peer-reviewed, primary, biomedical literature that addresses the therapeutic uses of medications.  These can include studies of efficacy; effectiveness; safety; pharmacokinetics; pharmacogenomics; and other pharmacology, toxicology and pharmaceutical sciences research.
