ISPE Student Chapter

The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) Student Chapter is a part of the ISPE Student Council, an international network for students interested in or studying Pharmacoepidemiology. More information available here.  


To provide a student-led forum for the exchange of scientific knowledge and advanced professional learning in the field of pharmacoepidemiology.


  • To provide learning, networking, and career development opportunities to students interested in pharmacoepidemiology
  • To expose students to potential career opportunities in pharmaceopidemiology, including but not limited to academia, consulting, pharmaceutical industry, and government
  • To support and foster mentorship between working professionals and students
  • To organize student activities that promote pharmacoepidemiology among students at UIC’s College of Pharmacy and School of Public Health
