Download iCal FileEvery summer, the Atkins Medicinal Plant Garden hosts an Annual Atkins Garden Walk as a one-day event that is open to the UIC community and the public. The past few years, elements of this event have been online/hybrid, so that interested viewers are able to join safely from home.
Faculty and scientists in the Pharmacognosy Institute and the UIC College of Pharmacy organize the event, which involves a guided tour through the Atkins Medicinal Plant Garden as well as a lecture by an expert on a topic related to medicinal plants and/or plants used for human health.
