Sixty-Nine Student Pharmacists Win Chancellor’s Awards
Introduction
Sixty-nine student pharmacists received awards at the Annual Chancellor’s Student Service and Leadership Awards (CSSLA). The CSSLA, created in 1973, was designed to recognize student leaders who maintain high academic achievement and “demonstrate a commitment to the UIC community” through student organizations.
P1 student pharmacist Shayna Bryan received the UIC Volunteer Service Award. The award recognizes individuals who have logged more than 100 hours of community service in a single calendar year.
The Chancellor’s Student Service Award (CSSA) was awarded to 69 student pharmacists. The CSSA honors students who have “made an outstanding contribution to the University through campus and community service.” The student pharmacist winners are:
