Overview:
JoAnn Stubbings is Clinical Associate Professor Emerita in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Pharmacy. Prior to this, she served as Associate Director, Specialty Pharmacy Services, at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System. Professor Stubbings was the inaugural Chair of ASHP’s Section of Specialty Pharmacy Practitioners from 2018-2020 and currently serves on the Section’s Educational Steering Committee. Her research interests include specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical policy, Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies, 340B, pharmacy services, and pharmacist provider status. Her teaching experience at UIC include courses in Specialty Pharmacy, Pharmacy Services and Reimbursement, and Pharmaceutical Marketing.
