Overview:
Ryan Rodriguez, PharmD, BCPS is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Drug Information Group at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy. He received his PharmD degree from the University of Florida, his MS degree in epidemiology from the UIC School of Public Health, and completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and a PGY2 residency in drug information. His routine practice involves authoring drug class reviews for a variety of drug classes used in acute and chronic disease management, responding to clinicians’ drug information requests for patient-specific and population-level questions, and coordinating evidence-based medicine coursework and the UIC Residency Teaching Program. Dr. Rodriguez’s areas of interest include research design and methodology, pharmacoepidemiology, systematic reviews, and formulary management.
