Assistant Dean for Research John Nitiss, in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute's Yves Pommier, published a review in the prestigious journal Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology on the roles of topoisomerases during replication & transcription and DNA damage repair & genomic stability, and how their deregulation leads to pathologies such as cancer.
