A primary goal of the CPR is to conduct ground-breaking research in pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology and patient-centered outcomes research in order to advance understanding of the impact of pharmacy and health care services, products and policies. Research conducted by investigators in the Center is funded by a variety of sources, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, private research foundations, and by government agencies, including the National Institutes of Health, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and the Food and Drug Administration. Investigators actively disseminate their research through presentation at national and international meetings and through publications in peer-reviewed journals.
