UIC College of Pharmacy at Rockford to Host High School Pharmacy Camp
The UIC College of Pharmacy at Rockford is inviting current high school students interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy to apply for the High School Pharmacy Camp (HSPC) scheduled for Saturday, April 1, 2017. The camp will be held from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and will be held at 1601 Parkview Avenue, Rockford, IL 61107.
The HSPC allows students to explore the field of pharmacy through instruction and activities led by current pharmacy students. Applicants must be current high school students, and display an interest in learning more about the field of pharmacy. It is recommended that students enjoy science-based courses, particularly chemistry.
The cost to attend this camp is $25 which includes a t-shirt, light breakfast, and lunch. Payment will be due to UIC following admission. To be considered for the High School Pharmacy Camp, applicants must apply by March 10, 2017. Students may access the application via go.uic.edu/hspc.
