Dr. Laura Meyer-Junco Selected to Attend ASCP Foundations Parkinson’s Disease Pharmacotherapy Traineeship
Dr. Laura Meyer-Junco, Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice on the UIC Rockford Campus has been selected to attend The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) Foundations Parkinson’s Disease Pharmacotherapy Traineeship. This 4-day traineeship will be held at the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago this May.
Dr. Meyer-Junco currently practices in geriatrics, palliative care, and cares for hospice patients at Mercy Health Hospital and the Visiting Nurses Association Hospice in the Rockford community. She will bring the expertise she acquires in this program back to her clinical practice and teaching.
