In this section

Medicinal Chemistry includes research in traditional synthetic medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, and neuroscience research, while Pharmacognosy is the study of the chemistry, biochemistry, biology, taxonomy, and ethnobiology of natural products.

Our students, who come with backgrounds in many different sciences, learn by participating in the department’s research foci: cancer, women's health, neurodegenerative and related psychiatric disorders, and anti-infectives.
