Faculty Awards

Vahlteich Research Award

Funded by the Hans and Ella McCollum Vahlteich Endowment Fund, this competitive internal award supports research by early career faculty members in the College up to $50,000.
Vahlteich Bridge Funding

Provides short-term funding to investigators with established research programs, and is intended to cover funding gaps and allow for stronger grant resubmission(s) to regain extramural funding.

Research Fellowships

IRACDA Postdoctoral Fellowship

This three-year mentored fellowship is designed to provide rigorous and balanced team-based training in both teaching and research to a diverse group of postdoctoral scholars, preparing them to be leaders in academia.
Riback Fellowship for PharmD students

This 12-week summer program provides a $7,000 stipend and an additional $1,000 for supplies for for highly motivated PharmD students interested in a research career in biomedical sciences.
Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF)

This $5,000, 10-week fellowship introduces undergraduates to biomedical research in order to increase the number of young scientists entering the biomedical research disciplines.

Research Day Awards
