Vahlteich Bridge Funding
For Tenured and Tenure Track Faculty in the College of Pharmacy
Vahlteich Bridge Funding provides short term funding to investigators with established research programs, up to $25,000 a year. Bridge funding is intended to cover funding gaps and allow for stronger grant resubmission(s) to regain extramural funding.
These funds are named for the Hans and Ella McCollum Vahlteich Endowment Fund. Hans earned his Graduate in Pharmacy (PhG) and Pharmaceutical Chemist (PhC) degrees from the College in 1917 and 1918, and Ella earned her PhD from Columbia University.

Eligibility is limited to current College of Pharmacy tenured or tenure track faculty. Faculty can learn more about application requirements and apply through the College of Pharmacy Intranet (UIC NetID required).
