Faculty and scientists, including postgraduate trainees in UIC's Pharmacognosy Institute and the College of Pharmacy, will provide tours of the garden from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The 2024 Farnsworth Lecture will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The Farnsworth Lectureship in Pharmacognosy is hosted in memory of Norman R. His scientific and educational contributions relate to the chemistry, biology, and therapeutic properties of medicinal plants and natural products.
