The UIC College of Pharmacy achieves top ten residency match
With 71 graduates attaining residencies, UIC College of Pharmacy graduates rank in the top ten of total graduates matching into pharmacy residency training!
Students matched with a residency in 20 states. The national match rate average for all schools of pharmacy in the country was 63.5%. The UIC College of Pharmacy's match rate was 66% for the PGY1 match and 92% for the PGY2 match.
“We are proud that UIC is again among the top programs in the nation for placing PharmD graduates into residencies," said Dr. Glen Schumock, Dean of the UIC College of Pharmacy. "It speaks to the reputation of our graduates as being highly prepared for post-graduate residency and fellowship training."
