About
Research Interests:
My primary research interests are in the areas of pharmacoeconomics and comparative effectiveness research. I am particularly interested in evaluating innovative methods of delivering health care to complex patients with multiple chronic conditions to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life in an efficient manner. This includes, but is not limited to, the evaluation of clinical pharmacist and multidisciplinary activities such as medication therapy management and medical home models; development of programs to improve adherence to medications; and evaluation of pharmaceutical agents for efficiency and optimizing their use. Scientific methods employed in my research include cost-of-illness and cost-effectiveness analysis, pharmacoepidemiologic methods, and prospective comparative effectiveness trials.
