Overview:
After graduating with her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Drake University, Erin Carson completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with a Focus in Ambulatory Care at Monroe Clinic. Dr. Carson has been at the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy-Rockford since 2015 and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. She practices in ambulatory care at UW Health Northern Illinois in Rockford, IL where she precepts pharmacy students and PGY1 residents. Dr. Carson is recognized as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Her scholarly activities have focused on anticoagulation, chronic disease state management, and development of ambulatory care services.
