About
Research Interests: Our research group is focused on evaluating promising phytochemicals or semi-synthetic derivatives for cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, colitis and inflammation from pre-clinical research to early phase human clinical trials. Ongoing projects are evaluating phytochemicals from Mediterranean herbs including rosemary, the south east Asian Mangosteen fruit and the human pharmacokinetics of phytochemicals including. We are especially interested in understanding the pharmacological properties and pharmacokinetic properties of pure phytochemicals or phytochemicals in standardized extracts.
