About the RPHARM Concentration at UIC's Rockford Campus
For those interested in practicing in a rural community, the Rockford Campus offers the Rural Pharmacy Education Concentration (RPHARM) to educate student pharmacists on the unique challenges and opportunities present in rural environments. Approximately 10% of our students take part in RPHARM and work collaboratively with medical students enrolled in the Rural Medical Education Program (RMED). We also offer seven other degree concentrations for students who want to develop new knowledge and policies for the field of pharmacy and are looking to secure competitive fellowships, residences, and jobs.
