Applicants who meet these two conditions will be invited to complete the UIC PharmD Supplemental Application. If the prerequisite coursework cannot be fully verified or the GPA requirement is not met, the applicants will receive a follow-up email with further guidance.

Part 5: If successfully admitted, pay the acceptance deposit
Applicants who have completed the UIC PharmD Supplemental Application and have the required letters of recommendation in PharmCAS will have their application materials reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
The UIC College of Pharmacy Admissions Committee uses a holistic review process.
Holistic Review refers to mission-aligned admissions or selection processes that take into consideration applicants’ experiences, attributes, and academic metrics as well as the value an applicant would contribute to learning, practice, and teaching. Holistic Review allows admissions committees to consider the “whole” applicant, rather than disproportionately focusing on any one factor.*
Applicants receive a status update when the admissions review is completed.

Complete Preferred Admission Interview
After a holistic review by the Admissions Committee, a select number of highly qualified applicants will be invited to complete an admission interview. Until further notice, admission interviews will take place in a virtual online format, led by students, staff and faculty from the preferred campus. The admission interview consists of information sessions with student panels and faculty, interviews in the multiple mini interview (MMI) format, and a writing assessment.
