Types of Gifts
The Annual Fund, sometimes referred to as the Dean's Fund, is an unrestricted fund that allows the college to use the funds to address areas of greatest need. Typically, these funds are used to do things like send students to conferences, handle emergency renovations and help with travel fees for guest lecturers. The Annual Fund is the most versatile tool in the fundraising arsenal. Alum Steve Karagiannis discusses the Annual Fund in the video below.

An endowed faculty position (scholar, professorship, chair, deanship) represents the highest honor the University can confer on prominent faculty members. Endowed positions help attract and retain brilliant scholars. By providing dedicated resources for innovative research and teaching opportunities, endowed positions enable the most gifted faculty members and administrators to excel in their scholarly activities.
