Diversity Strategic Thinking and Planning (DSTP) Committee

The work of the COP-DSTP does not revolve around race and ethnicity but rather focused on diversity as an evolutionary concept. Through our strategic thinking and planning, we learned that to maintain the College’s reputation as a preeminent world class pharmacy school, diversity, equity, and inclusion must be positioned as fundamental to our mission of teaching, research, service, and activities. The DSTP committee consists of faculty, student, staff, and administrators who are assigned to various subcommittees. The charge of COP-DSTP subcommittees is to develop action plans, to develop assessments and benchmarks for diversity, equity, and inclusion for the College, and to advise the dean on diversity, equity, and inclusion aspects in all facets of working and learning in the College, and to make sure that the College’s diversity and inclusion goals is aligned with those of the campus.
