UIC Pharmacy is committed to helping students get a world-class education. That includes making education affordable. One of the ways we do that is through scholarships. This allows students to offset costs if they meet the scholarship criteria. There are two types of scholarships available:
- Recruitment Scholarships – available to incoming students.
- PharmD Scholarships – available to current students.

Recruitment Scholarships Heading link
Recruitment scholarships are available for incoming students who fit the criteria for the scholarship.

Excellence Scholarships
The Excellence Scholarship is given to students with outstanding academic skills who are prepared for the pharmacy profession.

Dean's Recruitment Scholarship
The Dean’s Recruitment Scholarship is for students with academic skills who are prepared for the pharmacy profession.

Jack and Victoria Strandhoy Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to one first-year student per school year. The scholarship is renewed each year until the student graduates. The student must prove the financial need, for the scholarship, display academic skills, and/or be a member of an underrepresented group.

Opportunity Scholarships
This scholarship is for students with leadership experiences, unique talents, healthcare-related experiences, diversity, and perspective in overcoming obstacles to academic success.

Jennifer A. Perry and Andrew S. Perry Pharmacy Scholarship
This award is for a newly admitted student with outstanding academic skills.

DuBow Family Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is for newly admitted students with either a PCAT score in the 90th percentile (or higher) or a pre-pharmacy GPA of no less than 3.5 on a 4.0-point scale.

UPHARM Concentration Scholarships
Scholarships are available for students who have an interest in serving underserved urban populations as part of the Urban Pharmacy Concentration otherwise known as the UPHARM Concentration.
PharmD Scholarships Heading link
Our large alumni base has made it possible to establish many PharmD scholarships. PharmD scholarships are available to students in their second year through graduation. A list of PharmD scholarships is available below.
