Student Life and Funding
Funding for PhD students Heading link
The majority of PhD students in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PSCI) are admitted with funding. A typical student would receive support as a Teaching Assistant (TA) in years 1 and 2, and as a Research Assistant (RA) thereafter. Such assistantships come with a stipend (current rate $3125/month), full tuition waiver and partial fee waiver (out-of-pocket cost ~ $1300/semester).
Although there is no guarantee of continued funding (teaching or research assistantship stipend and/or tuition waiver), it is the intent of the program to fund PhD students with assistantships for the full duration of their enrollment period.
